Party Goats® FAQ
Can my animals meet yours?
We have a strict NO CONTACT policy with our herd and your dogs or other animals. This is NOT negotiable. No matter how "well-trained" or "sweet" your animal is, you can't predict or even know what instinct will be triggered.
In 2024, our 2 month old Tiny Tim was killed by a client's dog who was mistakenly released with the goats. Tiny Tim was our first loss in 7 years of running this business.
It is our client's responsibility to ensure that their animals remain secure.
Our goats are cherished members of our family. We put a lot of love, training, and care into being able to provide this experience. They are invaluable to us and this loss was devastating. There will be no exceptions. Please help us prevent this in the future.

1) Where does your herd live?
Our goats live with their mom, Scout, and a menagerie of animal brothers and sisters in the La Tuna Canyon neighborhood of Sun Valley. They have a playground fully-equipped with 2 tall towers, enrichment toys such as soccer balls, tires, and a trampoline courtesy of Animal Cribs (ANIMAL PLANET). At night they sleep in a barn to protect them from wildlife. They are extremely well-cared for and showered with love at all times. They truly are Scout's "kids!" Pictures of their enclosure can be found on our About Page.
2) What is your service range?
We are based in the Verdugo Mountains near Burbank, but visit all of LA, OC, and Ventura Counties. Additional fee for distance or drive time may be required if we have to travel during peak traffic times. Our boundaries that fall within standard pricing are: North - Santa Clarita, South - Marina Del Rey, East - Pasadena, and West - Encino. Outside of these boundaries will result in an additional travel fee.
3) What are your cancellation and rescheduling policies?
Cancellations/Rescheduling due to weather are refundable. Cancellations less than 24hrs in advance result in a 50% refund. Rescheduling less than 24hrs in advance results in an additional fee.
4) How many do you have?
26 goats and 4 sheep make up our herd. Unlike other companies in LA, we do not continue to get more goats when they grow up. We make a life-long commitment to each one. They are cherished members of our family. We make sure they receive the love and attention they deserve. You'll see that reflected in their open personalities, engagement, friendliness, and excellent training.
5) I'm concerned about the animals' care and well-being:
Our founder, Scout, started the company with the goal of enriching the animals' lives and enriching the lives of people they meet too! Our animals' well-being comes first and we take great care to make sure they are safe, loved, and happy. They love exploring new places and meeting new people. They also enjoy Goat Yoga and performing for the camera. We don't ever force them to do things they don't want to do and encourage their participation using love and positive encouragement. They aren't exploited or harmed in any way for entertainment - their lives are rich and full of activities that stimulate their minds. They live in a clean environment, are given the highest quality food, and all the love they deserve. You will see that they are happy and well-adjusted! If you have further questions about their care, please email us.
6) How many do you bring?
We usually work with 2 - 4 at a time. Most Goat Yoga classes you have seen online are people doing yoga with goats wandering around. We have the only goats in the country trained to interact on command with each yogi and with each pose. This is how we guarantee multiple interactions with each person and each goat in a variety of poses. Additional goats will require additional fee.
7) What kinds of things can we do?
We're up for anything as long as it's safe for people and goats! We do parties, events, fundraisers, pranks, goat grams, surprise parties, proposals, weddings, tv/film, music videos, branded content, IG/Twitter/Snapchat content, goat yoga, hiking with goats... YOU IMAGINE IT, WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN! We don't do brush clearance!
8) Is there an age minimum?
Nope our animals are very sweet and friendly to people of all ages! We even do therapy with seniors in retirement homes and others with limited mobility and mental challenges. Kids should approach them in a calm manner and be supervised at all times while interacting with them. In fact, we do mostly parties with adults!
9) Can we feed them?
Of course! Our handler will bring goat-approved snacks so all your guests will get to feed them. If you're lucky - they might even do a trick for you! We ask that you never feed them people food as it can make them very sick.
10) What kind are they?
They are Swiss Alpine, Saanen, Guernsey, and Nigerian Dwarf Goats. All of our goats are known for their friendly disposition and sweet nature. We have a very rare Valais (Blacknose sheep), Babydoll Sheep, and Lecune/Fresian Sheep.
11) Are they dangerous?
Our animals have never harmed anyone. We spend a lot of time training and socializing them so we can provide this experience. However, we're fully insured against injury and property damage in the unlikely event that something would occur. Also, our wranglers will supervise every interaction during your event.
12) Can I have them visit my apartment courtyard?
Please check with your landlord before booking.
13) Can we bring them inside?
Yes! It's best to have them on hard flooring since they can't be potty-trained. Our wranglers will make sure to clean-up after them immediately and keep them off furniture. We leave no smells, stains, or trace that the goats were there!
14) Will they cause a big mess?
Definitely not. Their poo is in the form of small pellets, so it's easily swept up and has no smell. Pee is easily cleaned up with no lingering smell or stains. We clean up any goat-related messes and leave no trace.
